All About Master Composites
The Beginning
Master Composites, Inc. began over two decades ago in a single-stall garage by CEO/Owner Justin Bergstrom to pursue and further his knowledge and career in the composites industry.
Before the startup of Master Composites, Inc., Justin spent most of his youth being involved in composites, as he was raised and taught by his father, John Bergstrom, who spent his career building his own successful fiberglass company.
During the early years, Justin quickly noticed a need to move away from open molding to allow for a better working, cleaner environment. Upon seeing closed molding for the first time, he realized immediately how important and relevant this new technology was. At the time, this was the driving force behind his passion for mastering closed molding, not yet knowing all of the other benefits that come with the process, such as achieving almost exact consistency in material usage from part to part, rapid cycle times, the superior B-side finish, and much higher glass to resin ratios and virtually no emissions, than that of the open molding process.
He never looked back once Justin discovered the closed molding process in the early 2000s. He is still focused on developing new tooling and production methods that further push the closed molding envelope.
The Now
Fast forward 20+ years, and Master Composites, Inc. grew from a single-stall garage to now operating within its new building of over 25,000 square feet., which focuses strictly on the closed molding process and a very high level of quality that has not changed since the company was started. This has been, and will continue to be, the precise business model of M.C. We are capable and large enough to accommodate production jobs that range from simple to extremely difficult projects with EAU of less than 3,000 parts, all the while focusing heavily on quality. Due to our size, customer focus and satisfaction become more accessible to us than larger companies.
Our team at Master Composites, Inc. is an innovative group of forward thinkers who like to push the envelope of what is possible. With decades of experience, we know fiberglass and composites and are always looking ahead to discover new ways to make each part even better than the last. Unlike some competitors with over a hundred employees, our smaller team of professionals can keep the number of hands your project passes through to a minimum, decreasing the chance of mistakes or blemishes and optimizing customer satisfaction.
